Hacı İdris Köken, in Kurular Village of Thessaloniki, Greece, was trading olives and tobacco with his family.
The Köken family took refuge in the Gündoğdu Village of Bursa from the Kurular Village with the exchange agreement.
After they settled down in Gündoğdu Village, they established the Köken Oil House to meet the olive oil production needs of the village and its family and started to produce olive oil with basic methods.
Köken Oil House started lithography production with the “Galardi-Firenze” brand olive press brought from Italy and providing the highest technology of the day.
Vedat Köken, who followed the path opened by his grandfather, modernized the production system with a continuous system and stepped into contemporary production.
We stepped into retail sales with the Gündoğdu Köken brand.
We have increased our design quality with our special production bottles, which are the first in Turkey.
